Ingredients:
- 2 lb. pork tenderloin
- 1 tsp. ground sage
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions:
- Pour 1/2 c. water into the bottom of a slow cooker. Place the pork tenderloin into water.
- In a small bowl, mix the sage, salt, pepper, and garlic together. Spread this mixture onto the top of the tenderloin.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Preheat oven broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Combine all the remaining ingredients into small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together and stir until the mixture thickens after about 4 minutes.
- Carefully remove the tenderloin from the crock pot and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the glaze onto the tenderloin, about 3-4 good layers.
- Broil for about 4 minutes or until the glaze starts to form a crust. Watch closely!
- Remove from the oven and shred with two forks. Serve with remaining glaze sauce.
Yields 6 servings.
